Sarita Speaks About Her Family, And More!

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 23, 2006, Sarita spoke. She told about her family and her brother, John G. Kenedy, Jr., and more. This is what she said:

“It is no secret that my father and his father before him used their wits to gain control of the land upon which my brother and I were raised. Their words – and ultimately my brother’s and my words – were regarded as the law upon our land. Through the power of our wealth, we controlled the lives of many persons.”

“Let me share with you about my grandfather and my father. Though a certain ruthlessness in handling men and animals was their common manner, they were reputed among their peers to be honorable men. I say “among their peers” because I acknowledge that at the time all men were not treated as equal.”

“Now, regarding my brother, let me frankly explain, the code of behavior, by which our family’s fortune was established, ceased to be observed by the third male in our line. He enjoyed the fruits of power, but Johnny did nothing to gain more – or to use his privilege to employ it productively. In Johnny’s defense, such dissipation among heirs is not uncommon. Johnny was not a cowboy; he was, sad to say, a playboy.

“From the vantage I now experience, I am aware of the speculation occurring concerning my brother’s lifestyle. Let me share with you that it is a tempest there; here matters are of greater consequence and scope. Whether my brother was promiscuous – with whatever such worldly behavior entailed – has been judged. He is experiencing the appropriate reward.

“Let me be blunt. Did I know while I was upon Earth whether Johnny fathered a child?”

“How crude such an inquiry seems! I had then or now no specific knowledge. It was rumored among our servants, but I did not make it my business to learn more of what I heard as common gossip. We – his wife and I – knew Johnny generally misbehaved, but we were, after all, attempting to live as faithful Catholic women, devoutly and virtuously. There were those  – our family’s attorneys and those who handled our financial affairs – who dealt with the ramifications of Johnny’s behavior.”

“Here is what I can tell you. All past behavior on Earth is here as the contents of a boiling caldron. Whatever my brother did or did not do – whether of virtue or of promiscuity – along with the character of my own past earthly life – has been transformed within the roiling, purifying currents by the fires of Purgatory. All knowledge of specific past behaviors has been purged. Here we have sorrow for the general sinfulness of humanity and we meditate upon the mighty things of God.”

“What remains is an overwhelming concern for those upon Earth that they avoid all unholy behaviors! Johnny, too, joins me – and all others – in an abhorrence of sin and the desire for godliness.”

“And that, my friend, is why I communicate with you and all others who have ears to hear.”

“Seek the truth while it may be found! Avoid selfishness of any kind. Tend to those who are in need. Love and serve others, especially the poorest of the poor! This is my message to you, and, particularly, to those associated with the foundation I created to honor my parents. ”

“Embrace every opportunity to do what is right and just. Make peace with those who seek justice from you.”

“You have inquired whether my brother did, indeed, have a child. Such an answer is now beyond my knowing. However, there is a means of knowing down below, scientifically. Do what is just and right! Here, however, there is only one paternity – the Fatherhood of God. No other birthright has significance.”

“Because you are to be just and to do only that which is right, do, therefore, what is just and right! Using whatever means are available, pursue what is of immediate concern!”

“And, please remember, what is of eternal consequence – beyond someone’s earthly parentage – believe and do what is contained in Jesus’ words:

“Our Father, who is in heaven, …”
