Virgen de Guadalupe

Vigil

for the

Peoples of the Americas

O Blessed Mother of the Savior of the World,
we, your children, beg your intercession for peace and safety
from crime and violence for the peoples of the Americas.

We ask your maternal intercession for conversion of life
for all men and women, especially those involved in unlawful conduct.

We ask for a New Pentecost, a new descent of the Holy Spirit,
upon those who would follow your son, Jesus Christ.

We recognize you who appeared as La Virgen de Guadalupe
to the poor and humble man now known as San Juan Diego.

We come to you in the same spirit of humility with urgent need. Amen.
