“Go Tell the Kenedy Memorial Foundation”
Sarita Kenedy East spoke once again on May 18, 2006, to her
friend, telling him to give a message to those who have stewardship of the
legacy she bequeathed to the John G. and Marie Stella Kenedy Memorial
Foundation.
In my
audacity, I asked dear saintly Sarita a question early this morning (May 19,
2006) as I rested in my bed, sleepless since receiving a message late last
night from her for the members of the John G. and Marie Stella Kenedy Memorial
Foundation.
Here
is the question I put to her.
"Why,
dear Sarita, do you come bearing a message when you do?"
Here
is Sarita's answer.
"It
is not a matter of when I speak to you. I have only one message and I
sing it with sorrow until it is truly heard. It is rather a matter of when
you have ears to hear. You hear my sad song infrequently because you are
distracted by worldly concerns. Pray that you join me faithfully in
singing this continuous, sorrowful song. Pray that my song is heard by all.
Then you and I and all may sing the joyous, endless 'Alleluia to the
Lord!'"
I
murmured: "Oh!"
Here is Sarita’s
Latest Message
"Those who
think they do my will by amassing millions upon millions with which
to parcel out token humanitarian gifts betray the Lord of Life!"
Sarita said from beyond the grave.
"The bishop
of Corpus Christi and his successors and those around them should know this,
but he and they do not follow the will of God. They follow the will of
their own hearts and the wisdom of the world. What do they know of holy poverty?”
“A poor church is
a holy church!”
"They have
things upside down! They should know the law of Christ! They call themselves
men of God. In giving all, we receive all!"
"By giving
himself freely, by permitting his earthly body to be emptied of all
life, by yielding his last breath upon the cross in
that supreme, sacrificial act of love on Calvary, Jesus restored life to
all!"
"And what do
we have at the foundation I created in a moment of ignorance? We have
millions upon millions stored up as some sort of hedge against
poverty by fearful men doubting the providence of God. What have we
done with this manna my family and I stored up?"
"My God!
Earth does not know the grief I suffer from empowering such a pack
of faithless men lacking any understanding of the generosity of
God. Lord, forgive me!"
Sarita spoke much
about the economy of God. She told of how the Holy Scripture teaches what true
philanthropy entails. She revealed her great sorrow over how those at the
foundation she created follow misguided ways.
"Why are
they unwilling to understand? Christ gave his all! Don't these men who
call themselves Christian shepherds understand they are to empty the
storehouse?"
"Warn these would-be
philanthropists. What do they want? Millions upon millions in their precious
banks earning more millions upon millions? Do they believe they are doing the
will of Christ?”
“Warn them, my
friend! Warn them!"
"God is not
impressed with what they have stored up! God will be impressed when their hands
are empty from giving and giving and giving! Then he will fill loving hands
again and again and again and yet again!"
